Steering waaay clear of the spa-retreat-destination style local "wineries," I was not disappointed with the smaller boutique vineyards I visited in Georgia's north woods wine country...
...very classy and definitely worth a few splurges! OK, MANY splurges!

Hey! That cork wreath thingie is a great idea. Think I probably have enuff corks to start one. (Thank you, Two Buck Chuck) I really hate throwing them (the corks-not the wine) away so I drop them in a drawer for safe keeping.
