Mystery for a Sunday morning. My computer shows some pictures and some empty frames."On a purpose?" as my son used to say? Malfunction?

Pat says by the shape and color of the heads and necks, the ducks got mixed up with Mallards somewhere down the line but aren't a true Mallard. The curly tails are also dead give-aways. Thanks Pat Macias!

Joan Taylor says there are "Heritage Animals" at this restored Homestread (in Land Between the Lakes), and these are probably a very old, "heritage" breed (that got mixed up with Mallards at some point in time).
