"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely. Broad, wholesome, charitable views cannot be acquired by vegetating in one's little corner of earth."
Taking Twain's admonishment seriously, our two-rig caravan took two weeks to explore most of Idaho's Scenic Byways. We are most fortunate to live in "this little corner of the world" -- perhaps growing a teensy bit older, but certainly not "vegetating"!

Love the Mark Twain quote!!
Hey Dear Lorna!
On our recent travels through Denmark, we heard this Hans Christian Andersen quote:
"To move, to breath, to fly, to float,
To gain all while you give,
To roam the roads of lands remote,
To travel is to live."
Absofrigginglutely!
Art and I are currently in Hamburg, Germany, and will be flying back home tomorrow. But we're already thinking about future travels. There is nothing better for a person's soul.
Love you, miss you and can't wait to see you again!
Barbara and Art (with lots more photos and blogging to do once we're home!).
