HOMEWARD BOUND

Well folks, I can tell you I've had one helluva ride these past soon-to-be nine months...an unforgettable adventure, and, except for unscheduled gall bladder surgery and Sambo's flea infestation, completely problem-free -- though I do have a few thousand miles left to go.

I started turning Westward about when I met my Lazy Daze pal, Calicia Hardin, on the Natchez Trace in October. I'm more than a month behind in a chronological recounting of the activities that have (mostly) kept me out of trouble. The only solution I can embrace at this point is to post photos and narrative in bits and pieces, out of order, as my time permits. (Mind you I might reach the end some time next Spring!)

Sure do hope you'll stay tuned for more, but less frequent, blog posts. In the meantime, thank you all for your cards and letters of support. I appreciate hearing from you, especially when praise is involved!!!!!!!!

"Dits and doots" will be OK; I'll remind you! Go safely on the westward journey; the lure of Dogpatch is strong, I know! ;-)
